Our client is a well-known and highly prestigious international group of hotels with head offices located in London and hotels in some of Europe’s most vibrant cities. Due to rapid growth and expansion the client is now looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant who is seeking a role within a progressive company. This position would suit a diligent individual who can support their growth. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role will include the following;

• Revenue to cash reconciliations
• Bank reconciliations
• Month end calculations and journals including revenue recognition, payroll and accruals
• Month end management accounts for hostels under your responsibility
• Maintain fixed asset registers (additions, disposals, and depreciation calculations)
• Reconcile approved invoices into the accounting system
• Coordination with local accounting firms to ensure local tax regulations are complied with including submission of required tax returns and remittances
• Coordination with local accounting firms to ensure local statutory accounts are produced and filed on time
• Assist with year-end reporting requirements and statutory audit (Group and locals)
• Involvement with financial system enhancements as required
• Supporting the business for launching new hostels and strategic growth
