Our client is a leading, international supplier of food commodities based in North West London. A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Finance Administrator to work closely within the finance team in an administrative support role.

Working directly with the Finance Director, this position would suit a Business / Finance Graduate or an Finance Administrator with 1-2 years experience to join a company which offers training and career prospects.

Duties & Key Responsibilities:

  • Record expense claims and vendor bills accurately
  • Generate weekly payment runs and facilitate payments within specified terms.
  • Manage supplier relationships by addressing queries, negotiating payment plans, and fostering stronger partnerships.
  • To monitor costs incurred in trading and logistics
  • Processing of shipping documents
  • Ensuring company costs (invoices and expense claims) are recorded
  • Ensuring invoices and expenses are paid within terms
  • Maintaining aged payables for group and contributing to cash flow forecast
  • Reconciling supplier statements

Personal Attributes and Other Requirements:

  • Excellent numerical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in finance or accounts administration
  • Discretion in handling confidential financial information.
  • Proficiency in IT, including familiarity with accounting software packages.
