Our client is a leading company who specialise in Healthcare Services across the UK. Due to rapid growth they are currently recruiting for a Finance Manager to be responsible for running the group accounts for all the care homes which are centralised at the head offices.

Duties to include:
• The production of management accounts for the groups of care homes (profit and loss account, balance sheet and cash flow statement), writing high quality commentaries on management accounts highlighting key variances, trends and concerns.
• Reconciling certain general ledger accounts and taking responsibilities for the general ledger accounts.
• Raising and booking appropriate accounting entries to the general ledgers
• Monthly production of KPI’s.
• Liaising with external auditors
• Maintaining and using financial schedules to ensure revenue and expenses are properly and accurately reflected in the management accounts.
• Bank reconciliations
• Ensuring that income and expenses are properly recognised and accrued and balance sheet accounts are all regularly reconciled on a timely basis.
• VAT returns
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
• Qualified /part qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA/AAT
• Good working knowledge of accounting packages and Microsoft Excel
