Our client is a leading Jewish communal organisation located in London who are actively recruiting for a Finance Manager to join their team. This role will work closely with the Chief Executive and will be responsible for day-to-day finance operations as well as improving processes and helping to identify efficiencies.

Duties will include:
- Overseeing accounting procedures for the department
- Preparation of year end accounts
- Preparation of management accounts and financial data with variance analysis and commentary
- Preparation of monthly management information: P&L & Balance Sheet
- Forecasting budgets and Cash flow management
- Oversee day-to-day bookkeeping duties
- Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded and reported through ongoing review.
- Preparation of an annual budget, to be approved by the Board of Trustees
- Support the Chief Executive to manage costs and overhead expenditure
- Collaborate with auditors to ensure compliance with all regulations, particularly Charity Law
- Liaising with external auditors
- Knowledge of Xero essential
Skills and attributes:
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA) or relevant equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge and experience in financial and management accounting
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as XERO and Excel
