Our client is a successful & established law firm located in Hertfordshire. We are looking to recruit for a Legal Conveyancing Secretary to join their friendly team, supporting 2 Fee Earners. The successful candidate will have a minimum 2 years’ experience within conveyancing in a Law firm and have strong IT skills. This is an office-based role which offers parking and other perks. Duties include:
- Supporting Fee Earners in all aspects of residential and some commercial conveyancing
- Diary management and scheduling of meetings
- Email management, producing correspondence and business letters
- Drafting transfers, contracts, leases, certificates of title, sales documents, collating auction packs, producing invoices and preparing transfers of sale
- Preparing Land Registry documents
- Performing and reporting on Anti Money Laundering procedures and compliance
- Copy typing
Key skills/attributes:
- SDLT knowledge essential
- Minimum of two years in Conveyancing
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
