Our client is a well-known and established Property Management Company located in East London. The client is looking to recruit an experienced Property Administrator/Coordinator to join them on an interim contract basis to assist them in bringing their rental property portfolio up to the current market rental standards. This position may become permanent, depending on the client requirements.

Candidates should have a background in either legal or property administration and be available to start a role as soon as possible. Duties include:

• Property licensing – making sure each landlord is compliant and has the right license in place
• Checking the current rentals on a portfolio of residential properties
• Right to Rent Checking
• Researching the appropriate rentals for specific units
• Where the rentals are found to be too low, negotiating with tenants regarding increases
• Putting systems in place for continuous monitoring of rentals against market value
• Taking responsibility for the rent review process from start to finish
• Researching ideas for refurbishment of properties to achieve maximum income
• Presenting proposals to Senior Management
• Managing and updating the in-house database
