Our client is a successful and prestigious accountancy practice with offices located in Hertfordshire. They are actively recruiting for an ambitious Senior Management Accountant to join their team. Candidates applying should have previous professional practice experience and be fully qualified AAT/CIMA/ACCA/ACA.  Duties will include:

• Preparation of monthly/quarterly management accounts, providing analysis and designated reports.
• Bookkeeping and VAT reporting to a high standard and maintaining client records for referral where needed.
• Month/Quarter end adjustments and reconciliations.
• Preparation of year end statutory accounts.
• Supervision of junior members of staff, including reviewing the work and providing feedback to assist in training and development.

You will also have/be:

• AAT/CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified.
• Previous professional practice experience.
• Solid understanding of accounting software.
• Good knowledge of VAT law and compliance.
