Our client is a growing maintenance and construction company who are currently recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team. They have a top class multi million pound project portfolio, dealing with super prime high end residential projects.

This position will be working closely with a team of professionals and offers career prospects and progression.

Duties will include:
-Issuing of accurate, timely and compliant notices and correspondence.
-Preparation or assessment of applications, valuations, cost/value reconciliation.
-Cost control and forecasting, prepare and provide input to monthly reports: value, cost, profit/loss, cash flow and budget.
-Preparation and agreement of applications for payment or the assessment & preparation of payment certificates.
-Assisting with Risk and Value Management to optimise solution.
-Contract Management, including all relevant contractual forms, methods of budgetary control and relevant software applications.
-Prepare supply chain enquiries, negotiate, administer and finalise / close supply chain contracts.
-Ensure all notifications/documents are managed in accordance with the contract, and customer / company policy.
-Ongoing liaison with site team, subcontractors and customers’ representatives.
-Measuring from plan drawings and isometrics to produce fully priced detailed bills of quantities c/w labour hours and material costs.
-Carry out full construction take off, prepare construction cost plan, track costs and labour efficiency throughout the project.
-Providing timely and accurate CCS submissions, submission of valuation and agreement of certification each month end.
-Preparing timely and accurate assessments/payment certs/payless notices for sub-contractors each month (Understand payment conditions within the Construction Act).
-Prepare subcontract packages for procurement, agree contracts and manage through to final account.

Key skills:
-A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
-Construction background.
-BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or experience equivalent.
-Strong knowledge of cost control principles and techniques.
-Proficient in using quantity surveying software and tools.
